BeatValet is a thoughtfully built product with a clear opinion about where producers lose time. We disagree on which step matters most, but we want to represent it honestly. If you spot anything inaccurate on this page, please let us know and we will fix it.
Product overview
What is BeatValet?
A producer-side automation tool tightly integrated with FL Studio. Drag in your .flp project, BeatValet pulls BPM, key, and genre, exports stems and a tagged preview, generates cover art and a YouTube video, and pushes the result to BeatStars and YouTube with metadata pre-filled.
What is Just Drop The Beat?
A DAW-agnostic distribution tool. Drop a WAV or MP3 from any DAW with a cover image, and JDTB renders the right video per platform, generates the right cover crops, and uploads to BeatStars, Airbit, YouTube, SoundCloud, TikTok, Instagram, and TrakTrain in one pass. A small Chrome extension drives the marketplaces that have no public API.
The two different bets
BeatValet and JDTB are solving the same broad problem (producer admin overhead) but they are betting on different bottlenecks:
- BeatValet bets the export is the slow part. Bouncing the master, rendering the tagged preview, exporting stems, naming files, and reading off BPM and key from the project. If your DAW is FL Studio, the .flp integration removes those steps cleanly.
- JDTB bets the distribution is the slow part. Once the WAV is ready, you still have to log into seven platforms, render a different video for each one, retype the same metadata, and watch out for platform-specific quirks. JDTB compresses that fan-out into one upload.

Where BeatValet wins
To be fair to BeatValet, its single-product focus shows in places JDTB has not optimised for.
FL Studio project-level integration
Reading BPM, key, genre, and stems straight from the .flp is genuinely the fastest way to get those fields out of FL Studio. JDTB does not touch the project file.
One pipeline end to end
BeatValet's flow assumes the same shape every time: project in, BeatStars and YouTube out. If that is exactly your workflow, it is hard to beat.
Founding-rate lock-in
If you grab one of the 25 founding seats and stay subscribed, the rate is locked. That is a real long-term saving for the right producer.
Producer-tag automation
Built-in producer-tag handling on the tagged preview is a small but visible win.
Where Just Drop The Beat wins
JDTB makes a different bet: that distribution across every platform is the bigger time sink, and that producers should not have to pick a DAW to use the tool.
Seven platforms, not two
BeatStars, Airbit, YouTube, SoundCloud, TikTok, Instagram, and TrakTrain all from one upload. Today, not on a roadmap.
DAW-agnostic
Logic, Ableton, Studio One, Cubase, Reaper, Bitwig, FL Studio. If your DAW exports a WAV, JDTB ships it.
Per-platform video
Long-form for YouTube and the Instagram main feed, vertical hook for TikTok and Reels. Each one is rendered to land first time on its platform, with no manual re-export between them.
Bulk upload and upload flows
Drop a folder of beats and let JDTB run them through every platform. Save reusable flows for free drops, paid drops, beat tapes, or back catalogue migrations.
Free Starter tier, paid plans under $20
Free Starter covers ten uploads a month across every supported platform, no credit card. Pro is £10/$14 a month for unlimited uploads, Premium is £13/$18 a month for scheduled releases, watermarks, and priority support.
Which one fits you?
Three honest cases:
- You are an FL Studio producer who only sells on BeatStars and posts to YouTube. BeatValet is a strong fit. The .flp integration removes the export step entirely, and the surface area beyond BeatStars and YouTube does not matter to you. The founding rate, if you can grab a seat, is good value.
- You release on more than two platforms, or you care about TikTok and Instagram. JDTB is the better fit by a wide margin. Per-platform video, seven-platform reach, and a free Starter tier add up to a different scale of time saving.
- You use a DAW other than FL Studio.JDTB is the only one of the two that works for you today. BeatValet's Logic and Ableton support is on the roadmap but not shipped.
Our verdict
BeatValet and JDTB are both real products solving real producer pain, and they are not pointed at the same bottleneck. If your bottleneck is FL Studio export and you only ship to BeatStars and YouTube, BeatValet is the right tool. If your bottleneck is everything that happens after the WAV is ready, across the seven platforms producers actually use in 2026, JDTB wins, with a free Starter tier and Pro at £10/$14 a month. Most producers will fall into the second group, which is why we built JDTB the way we did, but pick the one that matches the step you are losing the most hours to.
